Australian Catholic University (ACU)

This is the only catholic, national and publicly funded university in Australia. It has more than 20,000 students with campuses in North Sydney, Strathfield, Canberra, Brisbane, Ballarat, and Melbourne.

The school hosted three Virtual Open Day sessions on August 29 2020, September 5 2020, and September 12 2020.

Australian National University

The university was founded in 1946 as a symbol of national identity and unity after the war and to improve Australia’s understanding of its neighbours and itself as well as contribute to social cohesion and economic development. Its primary mission was conducting postgraduate research on subjects and issues of national importance. This mission underlies the destructive relationship that the university had with the federal government. It initially had four research institutes and was the only full-time research university in the country for a long time. Since then, it has improved severally and now offers undergraduate courses, something that started as far back as 1960.

The university was established in 1968 as the Canberra College of Advanced Education. In 1987, its status changed to a federally funded university which it has remained ever since. The campus is filled with wildlife such as native kangaroos and white cockatoos, tall trees, and clean air. Despite its proximity to nature, the university is also close to popular shopping and entertainment venues. Students in the school will have access to state of the art facilities. The university also offers several scholarships to students across various faculties. Available scholarships include;
